Prior to the year of opening in 2001, President Imtiaz Mustapha had accumulated over 2 decades of experience as a serial entrepreneur, based within the Water Gardening product distribution industry within the Caribbean, from 1980-1989 and widespread North American distribution from 1990 to 2000.
With his passion and dedication within the Pond & Water Gardening industry, Imtiaz Mustapha founded Sid’s Ponds in the Spring of 2001 at 6000 Ninth Line, Mississauga. This was just the beginning of his new career, entering the retail and product dealer market.
From the inception of Sid’s Ponds in the early 2000’s, Imtiaz acquired a strong vision for his offerings and his end goal objectives of his newly founded Water-Gardening supply store, which steadily grew year-by-year with exponential growth of his product offerings.
Spring of 2004, Sid’s Ponds was expanded into a full service landscape supply depot offering any and all hardscape / landscape materials used for outdoor home renovation. Year by year, Sid’s Ponds locked arms with numerous landscape & hardscape suppliers which established the strong customer base that the company holds today.
Sid’s Ponds is “1 of 1” in the Landscape industry as its offerings to the community extend Canada & USA wide, and most products sold by Sid’s Ponds are now available online with free shipping options.
